Spotlight on Fine Arts (SOFA), is a student-run publication of the Creative Arts Student Association within the Faculty of Fine Arts at York University. Our goal is to deliver students with the latest fine art news and provide a space where fine arts students can showcase their work. This year, 2011, I am the art director in a team of three. Previously a printed publication, I pitched to the rest of the team the idea of an online blog. The pitch was received and I created the blog for SOFA 2011. During the year I keep the website up date with submissions and help with promotion. As a team, we maintain a Facebook and Twitter page.
